The Giblet boost glider is patterned after European boost gliders that
inundate the FAI competition scene. The model's pivoting wing, with folding
tips, turns 90° parallel to the boom to reduce boost drag and prevent
aerodynamic influences i.e. looping, during boost. When the motor's
ejection charge fires, the motor is kicked out of the mini-pod with attached
streamer and releases a string allowing the wing to pivot into glide position.

The model's construction is balsa and hardwood with laser cut flying
surfaces that must be airfoiled and sanded smooth for optimum
performance. Complete instructions are included that cover construction,
preparation and flying tips from 1/8” launch rods.
