Venus Model Rocketry is the labor of Mark Petrovich, model rocket, space
and aviation enthusiast for some 37 years when he assembled his first
plastic airplane kit. In his youth, Mark owned every model kit that Estes
Industries ever produced and proudly bought his first Designer's Kit at the
age of 14. Since then, most of his models have been from the creative
folds of his imagination. It seems the flow has never dried up!
An avid designer, Mark enjoys competitive model rocketry at the NAR and
the FAI level and has participated in both arenas. Some of his kits will
reflect this enthusiasm while others will simply be channels to fun and
excitement of the vertical nature.
